Summary: Works directly with faculty members teaching figure drawing, portrait drawing, figure painting or portrait painting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of faculty poses for students in drawing or painting classes
  • Depending on the class and activity models may be required to pose nude.
  • Wide range of duties that may be performed under direct supervision or with a great amount of independence.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must have the ability to hold poses for as long as an hour or more
Must have the ability to appear unclothed before a group of students in a classroom setting
Reliable and available for all scheduled class sessions
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age or older. Wide range of duties that may be performed under direst supervision or with a great amount of independence. Associates Degree and 2 years experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job and/or as approved by the Human Resources Department.
Part-time employees working 20 hours or more per week for at least 20 weeks within the fiscal year (July 1-June 30) are eligible to participate in the Arizona State Retirement System and receive tuition waiver benefits.
