Job description

Nuvia Dental Implant Center, a growing full arch dental implant center, is looking for a skilled CRNA to join our team at our office in Tampa, FL We provide implants and full mouth restorations to our patients, providing life changing procedures. Our top priority is the satisfaction and well-being of our patients. We take immense pride in the life-changing dental implant treatments we provide, and nothing brings us more joy than witnessing the positive impact it has on our patients' lives.
This position is PRN
Hourly rate starts at: $200/hour, negotiable based on market
+ Daily guarantee, whether you work or not
Report at 6:30 - First surgery starting at 7am
1099- contractor
At Nuvia, our CRNAs are efficient with their time, self motivated and always put the patients safety as the top priority. An ideal candidate has experience with practicing independently and with nasal intubations, however, we are willing to train the right candidate. Our CRNAs are respected leaders in the Center, which has a positive, engaging culture. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to work autonomously in partnership with the Oral Surgeon.

Required experience:
  • Two years experience practicing as a CRNA.
  • One year experience practicing independently as a solo provider
  • Recent experience providing general anesthesia
  • Proficient in nasal intubations
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an outpatient facility and/or surgery center

Preferred experience:
  • Experience with dental anesthesia
  • Experience delivering anesthesia in an office-based setting

Education/Licensure:
  • Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
  • Valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Current state licensure as an APRN
  • Current ACLS and BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Professional malpractice insurance.

Duties:
  • Administer general anesthesia with a nasal intubation for full mouth dental implants in an office based setting
  • Collaborate with surgeons and dentists to optimize, develop and implement anesthesia plans
  • Ensure safe and effective delivery of anesthesia by following established protocols and guidelines
  • Perform pre-operative assessments and provide education to patients regarding options and potential risks
  • Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia administration, patient responses and any adverse events
  • Stay up to date with evidence-based research in anesthesia techniques, medications and equipment
