Job Summary
 We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. Responsibilities
 
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to determine individual care needs.
  • Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management in accordance with physicians' orders and safety protocols.
  • Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with diagnostic procedures such as laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, and imaging techniques like sonography or mammography when required.
  • Provide specialized care for patients with complex conditions including ICU or Level I Trauma Center cases, critical care needs, or post-operative recovery.
  • Support patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes or heart disease through education on medication adherence, lifestyle modifications, and health coaching.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in settings like emergency rooms, hospital medicine units, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications
 
  • Valid RN license in good standing with the state of Florida.
  • Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation.
  • Experience with specialized procedures such as wound care, G-Tube, ostomy care, infusions, or ventilator management is preferred.
  • Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background highly desirable.
  • Ability to perform complex patient assessments and manage acute pain or infectious disease cases effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for triage situations and working with individuals of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs.
