You will hold professional accountability for the care provided to your assigned patients, assess the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other caregivers, and collaborate with various departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. Position Overview:
  • Education: Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
  • Licensure: Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the state of employment, including meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in nursing is preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or completion of the course within 30 days of hire.
    • Additional certifications may be required based on the specific position or unit, including but not limited to:
      • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
      • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
      • ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
      • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
      • CPHON (Certified Pediatric/Hematology/Oncology Nurse)
      • OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
      • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
      • PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
      • S.T.A.B.L.E. (Six Assessment & Care Modules)
      • C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
      • Other unit-specific certifications as necessary.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged standing and walking are required throughout each shift.
  • Capability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as part of job duties.
