Job description

HART is a Charleston-based, sister-owned jewelry business specializing in high-quality, soulful custom charm jewelry. HART’s Part-Time Fulfillment Packing Associate plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are packed and shipped accurately and on time. This team member is primarily responsible for packing online orders and preparing or stocking packing supplies, while following order lead time workflows and upholding HART’s standards for accuracy, efficiency, and care throughout the order fulfillment process.


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and takes pride in contributing to a well-organized, fast-paced, team environment. They have the ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy, while possessing a can do and follow through attitude. A strong sense of ownership and attention to detail is essential, as this role helps safeguard the accuracy and efficiency of each shipment leaving our facility.


PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Packing each online order for shipment, following HART’s fulfillment standards and guidelines.

  • Review key items on each order to make sure they match the packing slip, such as customer’s name, shipping address, quantities, and contents of each order.

  • Ensuring each item goes out in its correct packaging to uphold brand standards and prevent damages in transit.

  • Following order organizational flows to ensure batches go out in order and on time to keep us on track for communicated lead times and on time delivery.

  • Packing preparation, including building shipping boxes and preparing/restocking packing supplies so each packing station runs smoothly and efficiently.


ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Additional day-to-day duties that fall under assembly, operations, fulfillment, and inventory.

  • Oversee organization of packing stations and fulfillment areas.

  • Complete daily opening and/or closing tasks.

  • Assist managers with any order customer service requests (finding and holding orders for address changes, product swaps, exchanges, etc.)

  • Learn, review, and follow standards across all duties to provide a one-of-a-kind experience to the online customer.
