Position: Processor -Part-Time

Spalding Hosiery Shoppe is seeking to fill a part-time Material Processor position. The Processor will be responsible for pulling, tagging, and sorting merchandise to provide “floor ready” inventory to the stores. Our Processors enjoy a temperature-controlled work environment. They have their own workstation and must be able to process merchandise according to the required specifications. Opportunities for advancement.

Requirements:
  • 1 year of production experience preferred. Experience in the clothing distribution center a plus.
  • Ability to accurately count. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide simple whole numbers.
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet production goals.
  • Should enjoy repetitive workflow processes.
  • Proficient reading skills for packing slips, audit slips, bin checks, and image checks.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Must be detail oriented and organized.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Pull packing slip and match to number of boxes received.
  • Ensure ticket label with bar code matches product.
  • Place ticket on box or garment tag.
  • Secure each piece with security senser.
  • Hang merchandise.
  • Physically pick up boxes or use hand trucks and pallet jack.
  • Sort merchandise and place in correct store aisle location.
  • Pick, sort, tag, and hang merchandise.
  • Keep work area clean and neat.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
  • Demonstrate the SPIRIT of Spalding Hosiery Shoppe: Safety, Positive Attitude, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion, Teamwork.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to use hands to handle, move and count cases/cartons/boxes and garments.
  • Reach with hands and arms to move cases/cartons/boxes and garments.
  • Able to walk up and down stairs.
  • Able to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Able to sit/stand for entire shift on the processing floor.
  • Able to squat, bend, reach, climb a ladder.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver heavier boxes with hand trucks or pallet jack.
  • Able to report to work as scheduled.
  • Must pass initial and periodic drug screens.
