Part-Time Inbound Package Sorter

2nd Swing is looking for a dependable, motivated individual to join our team as Part-Time Inbound Package Sorter. In this early morning role, you'll help ensure incoming shipments are received, sorted, and routed efficiently so our stores, customers, and warehouse teams have the products they need. If you enjoy staying active, working in a team environment, and starting your day early, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM start (Part-Time)

Position Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and unload inbound packages and shipments.
  • Sort packages accurately by destination, department, or processing area.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies and report issues as needed.
  • Scan and track packages using warehouse systems and handheld devices.
  • Organize packages to support efficient workflow throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Assist with general warehouse and inventory duties as assigned.
  • Follow all safety procedures while handling packages and equipment.

Position Requirements:

  • Ability to work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with a 5:00 AM start time.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
  • Basic computer or handheld scanner experience is a plus.
  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, package handling, or distribution experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced fulfillment or logistics environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

Compensation: $16 - $18 per hour, based on previous experience
