Job description

Southern Electric Corporation a Quanta Services, Inc. Step five will continue the Apprentice's training co centration on pole mounted apparatuses (other than transformers). During step five the Apprentice will be permitted to work on energized primary and secondary circuits with direct supervision of a Lineman or Foreman. This supervision may be a loft at the same physical location or supervised from the ground as long as the person supervising can effectively communicate with the Apprentice aloft.


The following, along with the tasks listed in the Previous steps, is a list of the kind of tasks the Apprentice step five should be engaged in and learning while on the job.
