Muscular Moving Men is seeking individuals to join one of the fastest growing teams in Arizona as an Over-the-Road Commercial Driver (OTR CDL). Pay Rate & Benefits

OTR Pay is based on mileage and trip metrics, with a competitive rate of up to 90 cents per mile, plus bonuses.

OTR CDL Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safe transport of the client's belongings over long distances, including interstate utilizing a 53' dry van (furniture trailers). All tractors are equipped with sleeper cabins.
  • Ensure quality experience moves during the packing and transport of our customers' belongings ranging from fragile, large, heavy, and difficult items.
  • Some physical labor may be required; however, you will be required to secure and lead lumpers/labor to help with loading and unloading.
  • Review work orders and customer special requests with the client and with the long-distance team to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Organize, prepare, and inspect semi and trailer before and after each move.
  • Take accurate inventories, ensuring no items are missing.
  • Maintain an accurate and thorough DVIR and ELD daily.
  • Follow all DOT regulations every day.
  • Be a team player, arriving on time, and communicating with your supporting teams, and most importantly our clients.

OTR CDL Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must possess a valid, Interstate Class A Commercial Driver License
  • Must be at least 23 years of age
  • Must have at least 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver
  • You must be able to repeatedly lift and carry at least 75 pounds by yourself and 150 pounds with assistance
  • Exhibit excellent customer service skills when working with our customers and clients.
  • Reliability is a key component in selecting our newest team members; being on time is a critical component of this position.
  • Ability to manage and lead lumper crews, as well as proper packing and loading of trailers.
  • Effective communication skills are a must, both verbally and in writing.
