As data analyst, you love diving into data and turning it into meaningful insights. As a data analyst at Booz Allen, you can use your skills and experience to support a mission and use data for good. We need a data expert like you to bring your expertise to secure our nations borders
As a client-facing data analyst on our rapid prototyping team, you'll work closely with your clients to understand their questions and needs and then dig into their data-rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Not only will you provide a deep understanding of their data, you'll also advise your client on what the information means and how it can be used to make an impact on meeting the mission needs of today.
As a data analyst on our team, you'll leverage subject matter expertise in intelligence community, military, and law enforcement analytics to work with large and diverse data sets to problem solve. Develop actionable leads and repeatable workflows using existing capabilities and create new technology-enabled methodologies. Apply broad domain expertise to comprehend data origins and context to ensure consistency of data, merge data sources together, and help others to gain a better comprehension of data. Operate in a real-time environment to develop actionable analytics and solutions.

You Have:
  • Experience in working with law enforcement or intelligence community professionals
  • Experience developing technical solutions with programming languages, including Python, R, or JavaScript
  • Experience with normalizing, aggregating, analyzing, and finding value in large volumes of data
  • Experience with commonly used applications in the intelligence community at the classified level
  • Experience in working with teams on challenging problems with short deadlines in high-pressure situations
  • Knowledge of law enforcement or intelligence community legal authorities and access controls
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience in law enforcement or intelligence, or data analysis or programming, or 5+ years of experience in law enforcement or intelligence, or data analysis or programming in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with JEMA or Jupyter Notebooks
  • Experience with Machine Learning, including Classification, Clustering, and Regression
  • Experience with Natural Language Processing techniques and tool
  • Experience developing custom UI/UX for data analysis
  • Experience with agile software development practices, product ownership, and relevant tools, including JIRA, Confluence, or Git
  • Experience with conducting training sessions for large groups and desk-side
  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis or Data Science preferred

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
