About This Role

Clubhouse Kids is a child care center located in Morrisville, Vermont. We are looking for a cleaner for our school.

This position is part-time and flexible. The shift is for an average of 2-3 hours daily, Monday-Friday, though Friday's cleaning can be completed anytime over the weekend.

The cleaner can complete this job in our building before children arrive (7:30am), or after we close(5:00pm) on weekdays.

Options for this shift could include:

  • 4:30am-7:00am
  • 5:00am-7:30am
  • 5:00pm-7:30pm
  • 5:30pm-8:00pm
  • Could even be late night.

What You'll Do
  • Daily sweeping/vacuuming and mopping of 6 medium-sized classrooms and shared building spaces (lobby, cubby room, hallways, sensory room, staff bathroom, and office)
  • Cleaning 1 staff bathroom daily
  • Some cleaning of surfaces (doorknobs, windows as needed, etc)
  • 1-3 loads of laundry daily (folding not required)
  • Fogging classrooms as needed, we use hydrogen peroxide based cleaner that is safe and non-toxic
  • Organization and putting away cleaning and janitorial materials
  • Completing and submitting an inventory list weekly to keep materials stocked
  • Occasional building organization projects/ deep cleaning as needed

Requirements
  • Must be reliable and consistent
  • Must have prior residential and/or commercial cleaning experience and/or excellent references
  • Must have high school diploma or obtained your GED
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain fingerprinting through the State of Vermont- Child Development Division (paid for by employer)
  • Must be able to physically complete all job tasks
  • Must have reliable transportation and strong work ethic
