Part Time Nurse Injector information

What is a part time nurse injector?

Part time nurse injectors are registered nurses (RNs) or nurse practitioners (NPs) who specialize in administering cosmetic injectables, such as Botox or dermal fillers, on a part-time basis. They typically work in medical spas, dermatology clinics, or plastic surgery offices, helping clients achieve aesthetic goals by performing non-surgical procedures. Their responsibilities include patient consultations, performing injections, ensuring patient safety, and providing post-procedure care. Working part time allows these nurses to balance other professional or personal commitments while staying active in the aesthetics field.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a part time nurse injector?

To thrive as a Part Time Nurse Injector, you need a valid nursing license (RN or higher), in-depth knowledge of facial anatomy, and specialized training in aesthetic injectable procedures. Familiarity with injectable products like Botox and dermal fillers, as well as experience using electronic medical records (EMRs), is commonly required. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a gentle bedside manner help build patient trust and deliver desirable cosmetic outcomes. These skills ensure safe, effective treatments and contribute to positive patient experiences and satisfaction in a competitive field.

What are some common challenges part-time nurse injectors face when balancing multiple workplaces or schedules?

Part-time nurse injectors often work at several clinics or med spas, which can make scheduling and consistency a challenge. Adapting to different protocols, documentation systems, and team dynamics at each location requires flexibility and strong organizational skills. Additionally, building rapport and trust with clients in a limited timeframe can be demanding, so effective communication and follow-up are essential. However, this role offers valuable exposure to various work environments and techniques, which can enhance professional growth.

Job description

Enhance Aesthetics & Wellness is expanding. We are adding two clinical roles to our team and we are looking for a certified RN injector who wants to build a practice, not just fill a shift.

We are a nurse practitioner led aesthetics and wellness practice at 330 S Main St in downtown Yuma. Our medical director is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner (DNP, FNP-C) who oversees all clinical care, treatment protocols, and provider training. Our clients come to us for results and stay for the experience.

This position starts part-time with real room to grow. Hours are built around the right person. If you bring an established clientele, we will build the schedule around your book. If you are earlier in your injectable career and driven to master it, we will invest in your development.

No nights. No hospital floor. No 12-hour rotations.

Compensation

Hourly base plus performance-based earnings. Your base is set by your experience, certifications, and whether you bring an established clientele. We review the full compensation structure during the interview process.

What you will do

  • Perform neuromodulator and dermal filler treatments under the direction of our medical director

  • Run consultations, build treatment plans, and manage follow-up care

  • Educate clients on treatment options, aftercare, and long-term planning

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and photo records

  • Support device and laser treatments if certified

  • Contribute to a clinical standard that does not slip on a busy day

Requirements

  • Current, unrestricted RN license (Arizona or compact state)

  • Certification in aesthetic injectables (neuromodulators and dermal fillers)

  • Current BLS certification

  • Availability that flexes with client demand

Strongly preferred

  • Hands-on injectable experience in a medical spa or aesthetics practice

  • Laser certification

  • Established aesthetic clientele

  • Working knowledge of medical grade skin care and treatment planning

What we offer

  • Nurse practitioner led practice with direct clinical mentorship

  • Modern downtown facility built for an elevated client experience

  • Flexible part-time schedule with a clear path to more hours

  • Product, device, and technique training

  • A client base that values expertise and pays for it

How to apply

Apply through this listing with your resume and a short note covering your injectable experience, certifications, and availability.
