Job description

Kingsmill Community Services Association is currently recruiting for seasonal Lifeguards (part time and full time) tp monitor its 3 community pools. Work hours are flexible and include weekdays and weekends.
Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR-AED certifications are required.
Pool Hours:
The three community pools with different operating hours:
Weekends
Mounts Bay 10 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Southall 11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wareham's Pond 12 noon - 6:30 p.m. (opens mid-June and closes mid-August)
Weekdays (June - August)
Mounts Bay 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Southall 10 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
Wareham's Pond 12 noon - 6:30 p.m.
Daily responsibilities:
  • Open-up, close-up, and lock-up pool area.
  • Meet and greet homeowners, visitors, and guests.
  • Walk and inspect the pool and surrounding areas.
  • Maintain a safe environment.
  • Be alert and watch people in the pool and surrounding area.
  • Enforce pool rules and behavior.
  • Assist with rescue if needed.
  • Maintain a safe environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order of the pool area and restrooms.
  • Monitor pool water chemistry.
  • Other duties as assigned.
