Summary:
The Building Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the building, ensuring a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for all tenants and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to handle a variety of tasks. The Building Manager may be required to work nights and weekends as needed.
Examples of Duties
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate building operations, including maintenance, repairs, and cleaning.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Address and resolve tenant complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Manage building staff, including maintenance personnel and custodians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Schedule and supervise routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of building operations, maintenance activities, and tenant interactions.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for building operations and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building management.
  • Develop and implement emergency response procedures and ensure staff are trained in these procedures.
  • Respond to building emergencies and be available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends.

Minimum Requirements:
