Personal Care Assistant

For the following counties:

  • Atlanta - night shift 5pm-9pm mon-Wed part time 8hours a week

Responsibilities:

The Personal Care Assistant is responsible for carrying out health care and homemaker tasks, in accordance with the care plan developed by a registered nurse or licensed therapist, to assist an elderly or disabled client. These tasks include assistance with personal care, ambulation and exercise, and household services essential to the well-being of the client. The tasks are performed at the client’s home.

Tasks:

  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and ambulating

  • Assist with homemaker activities including: meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry and errands

  • Assist with medically related tasks including: medication reminders and accompanying to medical appointments

  • Successful completion of an exam and training completed in our office
