Job summary: Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Job duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Educate and assist new mothers with physical and emotional needs durng the post partum period, while in the hospital setting
  • Caring for the infants and educating mothers about care.
  • Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowlede and skill.
  • Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate. NRP within 6 mo. of hire. STABLE within 6 mo of hire
• Neonatal nursing experience preferred.

• 2 years of Level 3 NICU/Transport Experaince 
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
