Job description

Looking for a caring and compassionate Registered Nurse to fill part time position working with adults who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities within residential settings. The RN is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team which is responsible for the individuals in their care. The nurse takes responsibility for medical oversight, coordinating care with the individual, medical providers, residential staff, day program staff, and family members.  Ensuring accurate and timely documentation, the nurse monitors the health and well being of all individuals in their care. Additionally, the residential nurse will provide staff trainings and develop and implement appropriate medical policies within the program. Strong health assessment skills required; current NJ RN license and a preferred 2 years of post-graduate hospital experience. Experience with developmental disabilities a plus. Excellent salary and benefits with a flexible schedule. Eligibility for all benefits is based on hours worked, employment classification, and fulfillment of applicable waiting periods and plan requirements.
