We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at Aviata at Kissimmee Gardens!

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Aviata at Kissimmee Gardens, you will provide direct patient care, supervise staff, and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations. You will also participate in restorative care, restorative dining, splints, ADL’s, bowel and bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation and transfers. Our team environment is focused on making a difference in the lives of others, and we are looking for someone who shares our passion for delivering exceptional, person-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise staff and oversee patient care in accordance with standards of care and practice and applicable state/federal regulations.
• Provide direct restorative care, restorative dining, splints, ADL’s, bowel and bladder management, passive and active range of motion, ambulation and transfers.
• Encourage residents to participate in their assigned programs by providing verbal cueing, one on one, and safety precautions.
• Maintain documentation on each resident participating in Restorative Program and notify management of any resident changes.
• Follow established facility policies and procedures while providing and coordinating resident care with other facility personnel.
• Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants during shift, including assigning and distributing work, performance management, training new staff, and ensuring work is being performed according to facility standards.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN.
• Experience in Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities preferred.
• You must be qualified, compassionate, and dedicated to a job well done.
