As a Registered Nurse (RN), a typical day may include:

Unit Description:

The Medical Surgical Neuroscience unit (7 Tower) is a 29-bed neurology focused unit that provides care for patients with strokes, epilepsy, and neurosurgeries. The unit specializes in acute care for patients with neurological conditions requiring both acute intervention and ongoing management, combining the structure of a medical surgical unit with the expertise of neuroscience.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing and a current American Heart Association BLS certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification is required. At least 1 year previous acute care experience is preferred. An Associate’s degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred, as is prior patient care experience and comfort with electronic medical record systems (EMR) like EPIC. This position is Night Shift, 36 hours per week, 7pm-7:30am.
