The Opportunity:
Apply engineering physics, engineering mathematics and materials science principles to support the design, analysis, manufacture or maintenance of mechanical systems. Apply basic principles, theories, and concepts and limited industry knowledge. Solve routine problems of limited scope and complexity. Refer more complex issues to higher levels. Work under direct supervision.
You Have:
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Revit
  • Knowledge of structural analysis and behavior
  • Knowledge of engineering design codes, such as IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, or ACI
  • Ability to use structural analysis software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or RISA
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate on technical teams
  • Ability to pay strict attention to detail
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with structural analysis software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, or RISA
  • Experience in structural engineering
  • Exposure to finite-element modeling or nonlinear structural analysis
  • Experience with BIM workflows
  • Possession of strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
