Job Title: Nursing Supervisor
Location: RWJUH Somerset

Pay Range: $50,481.00 - $64,642.00 per year
Pay Transparency:
The above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Job Overview:
The Nursing Supervisor acts as an administrative liaison and coordinates patient care activities. Requires ability to recognize priority situations, act, and make appropriate decisions. Addresses system issues to facilitate the provision of quality and efficient care. Facilitates timely transfer of patients to designated clinical areas. Utilizes escalation process to resolve issues/problems. Utilizes bed prioritization process criteria to ensure patient flow and admission. Excellent communication, leadership ability, time management, interpersonal and problem-solving skills required.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • BSN required
  • Minimum 3 years clinical/hospital experience

Preferred:
  • MSN preferred
  • 3-5 years prior supervisory/management experience preferred

Certifications and Licenses Required:
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS required
  • Current New Jersey RN license

Scheduling Requirements:
  • Part-time, Evening shift
