Job Description:
Fulton County Health Center is seeking a dedicated and reliable Environmental Services Technician to join our team. As an Environmental Services Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include cleaning and servicing hospital building areas, moving furniture, equipment, and supplies within and around hospital departments, and performing various tasks to ensure that the hospital is kept in an orderly and safe condition.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and service assigned hospital areas, including patient rooms, offices, corridors, and public spaces.
  • Move and arrange furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Utilize and maintain cleaning equipment such as mops, vacuum cleaners, and electric/battery-powered devices.
  • Ensure that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent the spread of infections and maintain a sanitary environment.

Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move heavy cleaning supplies and equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Experience with pushing and pulling of mops and electric and battery-powered equipment.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
