Job Description: Job Description – Coach (Part-Time) Classification: Non-Exempt Management Level: N/A Reports to: Head Coach Summary/Objective The Coach is responsible for delivering scientifically designed Orangetheory Fitness workouts within OT Group Holdings, LLC studios while creating a high-energy, motivating, and results-driven member experience. This role requires the ability to effectively coach and engage multiple members in a group fitness setting while maintaining strong time management, communication, and motivational skills. The Coach confidently represents the Orangetheory Fitness brand by delivering exceptional coaching experiences, fostering meaningful member relationships, and supporting member retention and engagement. This role partners closely with the studio team to contribute to sales and retention goals, maintain a welcoming and inclusive studio environment, and ensure a seamless member experience before, during, and after classes. The Coach must possess a well-rounded understanding of fitness principles, including endurance, strength, and power training, and effectively utilize Orangetheory programming, technology, and coaching tools to optimize member performance, safety, and results. The Coach reports directly to the Head Coach. Work Environment This role is primarily based in a fitness studio environment and involves frequent interaction with members, guests, and team members. The environment may include moderate to loud noise levels due to music and group fitness classes. Education/Requirements: · High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. · Minimum of 1 year of group fitness training or personal training experience required. · Current Orangetheory Fitness approved fitness certification required (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent). · Prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related client-facing role preferred (0–1 year). · Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse members.
