Job description

Join The Lutheran Home as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in a full-time or part-time role and make a difference every day by providing compassionate medication administration and resident care. Work alongside a dedicated nursing team in a community guided by our core values of service, excellence, dignity, fulfillment, grace, and stewardship. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
  • Administer prescribed medications to residents and maintain related medical records under supervision of a nurse
  • Take vital signs and observe residents to detect responses to medications; prepare reports or notify designated personnel of unexpected reactions
  • Assist residents with ADL care as needed
  • Answer call lights and take appropriate action
  • Complete documentation accurately, timely, and following facility policies and procedures
  • Immediately report any abuse, neglect, and/or changes in residents' conditions or incidents to the nurse
  • Communicate residents' requests or concerns in a timely manner
  • Encourage respect, communication, and teamwork
  • Participate in ongoing staff education and training

Full-time team members typically work a set 2-week schedule with every other weekend off, working 7 out of 14 calendar days. Part-time positions offer flexible scheduling, including shorter morning and evening shifts, with opportunities to pick up additional open shifts based on availability.
Available Shifts:
  • Full-time Day Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
  • Part-time Morning & Evening Shifts: Shorter shifts available based on facility needs and team member availability

  • Current Missouri CMT certification
  • Current Missouri CNA certification
