What is part time modeling?

A part-time modeling job involves working as a model on a flexible or occasional basis rather than full-time. Models may participate in photoshoots, fashion shows, commercials, or promotional events while balancing other commitments like school or another job. Part-time modeling can be a great way to gain industry experience, build a portfolio, and earn extra income without a full-time commitment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in part time modeling?

To thrive as a Part Time Model, you typically need a strong physical presence, confidence, and the ability to follow direction, with professional photos or portfolio work as a plus. Familiarity with modeling agencies, booking platforms, and basic posing or runway techniques are beneficial, though formal certification is not required. Reliability, excellent communication skills, and a positive, adaptable attitude help models build fruitful relationships with clients and agencies. These skills help ensure consistent bookings, professional work environments, and ongoing personal brand growth in a competitive industry.

What types of assignments or work schedules can I expect in a part-time modeling role?

Part-time modeling roles often involve a wide range of assignments, including photo shoots, fashion shows, promotional events, or commercial projects, depending on your experience and niche. Schedules are usually project-based, requiring flexibility, as work may be sporadic or on short notice, including evenings and weekends. It’s common to collaborate with photographers, stylists, and other creative professionals during each assignment. This structure provides an opportunity to gain experience with diverse clients and projects while balancing modeling with other commitments.

Can you work part-time as a model?

Part-time modeling is common in the industry and allows individuals to work on a flexible schedule, often for specific projects such as photoshoots, fashion shows, or promotional events. Requirements typically include a portfolio, good communication skills, and sometimes a minimum age or height, depending on the type of modeling. Many models balance part-time work with other commitments and may work with agencies or independently.

How much does a part time modeling get paid?

Part-time models typically earn between $15 and $50 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, location, and the type of modeling work. Rates can vary widely for runway, commercial, or promotional modeling, with some jobs paying flat fees or daily rates instead of hourly wages.

Job description

Part-Time Drama Teacher

Where Imaginations Run Wild and Confidence Takes Center Stage!

What Drama Kids Can Do for YOU:

  • Give you the chance to make a real difference in kids’ lives — helping them shine with confidence, creativity, and communication skills.
  • Offer a fun, supportive team environment where your personality and ideas are celebrated.
  • Provide paid training and a proven, easy-to-follow curriculum (no scripts or stage fright required!)
  • Flexible Schedule — usually 2-3 hours per week.
  • Monday–Friday between 2–4 PM.
  • This is a part-time role designed to supplement your income, not a full-time position.
  • Opportunities to grow your skills in teaching, leadership, and performance.
  • And yes, you get paid to play — think robots, aliens, superheroes, and improv games that keep both you and the kids laughing.

About Us:

Drama Kids isn’t your typical after-school program. We “Act Up” with purpose — using creative drama to spark imagination and build life skills. No sets. No auditions. Just energy, creativity, and FUN!

What You’ll Do (the easy part — we’ll train you!):

  • Lead creative drama classes for kids ages 5–12 in schools and community locations around Apollo Beach, Valrico, and Brandon.
  • Guide warm-ups, theater games, mini-scripts, and help prepare students for their end-of-year showcase.
  • Encourage shy kids, spotlight budding stars, and be the highlight of their week.
  • Build great relationships with students and families along the way.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Full School Year Commitment: September – May
  • Enthusiastic, dependable, and positive role models.
  • Someone who enjoys working with kids and can confidently lead a class. Confident managing a class.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to commit to the school year (Sept–May).
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Bonus points if you have theater or teaching experience — but not required, we’ll train you!

Perks:

  • Paid to play (seriously, we act like aliens and robots for a living)
  • Make a real impact and change little lives
  • Flexible schedule and flexible locations
  • Great pay and team culture
  • Be part of the world’s largest drama program!

Why Join the World’s Largest Drama Program? Because this isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to inspire kids, have fun, and bring confidence center stage. If you’re fun, reliable, and passionate about creativity, apply today and let’s make magic happen together!
