We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced café environment. Your expertise in coffee preparation and your ability to engage with customers will play a key role in enhancing their experience at our establishment.
Duties
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, workstations, and dining areas.
  • Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
  • Operate the Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for order processing and cash handling accurately.
  • Handle cash transactions, ensuring proper change is given while adhering to food safety and handling guidelines.
  • Assist in food preparation and serving items such as pastries or light snacks as needed.
  • Demonstrate time management skills by efficiently managing multiple orders during peak hours.
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices in food handling and preparation.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellent service.
