Job description

As a Part Time Medical Assistant, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Suwanee, GA.
  • Flexible 3-day schedule: Enjoy a consistent Monday & Wednesday schedule plus a flexible third day, with a preference for Tuesday or Thursday-great for MAs looking for meaningful part-time hours without a traditional 5-day schedule.
  • Strong clinical focus with variety: Spend approximately 70% of your time providing hands-on patient care, including full patient workups, triage, venipuncture/phlebotomy, injections, point-of-care testing and medication support, while also having the opportunity to assist with administrative needs.
  • Build relationships beyond the clinic: Support an average of 10-14 patients per day in a patient-centered environment and occasionally visit nearby client sites-with mileage reimbursement from the home site to the plant site. Bilingual Vietnamese skills are a plus!

What You'll Do
  • Interviews patients and measures vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height)
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Prepares treatment rooms, cleans and sterilizes instruments
  • Medication administration including injections, performs laboratory tests, operates EKGs and other diagnostic equipment as permitted by state regulations
  • Performs administrative tasks, assists at the front desk, schedules appointments, makes follow-up calls, and orders medical supplies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring
  • National certification in Medical Assisting from a Premise Health approved organization OR Certificate/Diploma and Transcripts from an accredited Medical Assistant program with hands on externship completed and passed- total online courses are not accepted
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred
