While they may not lead projects, they play a crucial role in maintaining lab operations and contributing to collaborative efforts. Their schedule allows flexibility, but they are expected to coordinate closely with full-time staff to ensure continuity and progress on research objectives. This role is ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance or those pursuing advanced degrees, and can serve as a stepping stone to more senior or full-time research positions.
