Part-Time Medical Records Clerk


Erath County Jail | Mon–Fri Days | 20 hrs/week

If you thrive on organization, accuracy, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this role is for you. Our medical unit is fast-paced and team-driven—your careful scheduling, chart prep, and commitment to patient confidentiality will help nurses and providers deliver their best care every day.

As a key support member in a secure correctional healthcare setting, you’ll make a meaningful impact on an underserved population while building your skills in a professional, purpose-driven environment.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in a medical office or healthcare support role

  • Strong computer skills and comfort navigating EMR systems

  • Confidence working independently and taking initiative

  • Solid understanding of basic medical terminology

  • Excellent decision-making and organizational abilities

Position Details:

  • Location: Erath County Jail
