Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of facility-related tasks in the areas of preventive and general building maintenance, carpentry, equipment construction, and courier duties.
  • Perform a variety of facility-related tasks in the areas of preventive and general building maintenance, carpentry, equipment construction, and courier duties.
  • Job Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of general maintenance functions as directed
  • Duties range from rearranging equipment and furniture to basic electrical and plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Operate various power saws, sanders, planes, routers, and drills to cut and size wood before construction, use glue, contact cement, nails, and adhesive to repair or modify all types of woodwork.
  • Deliver items between company departments and/or other establishments.
  • Receive items for delivery and information on recipients.
  • Under general supervision, perform a wide variety of custodial and maintenance duties to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment; and perform related work as required.
  • The primary function of this position is to perform basic maintenance tasks.
  • Secondarily, the custodian performs routine cleaning duties as needed.
  • Special events that require services beyond the norm may be assigned.

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years and a high school diploma or GED
  • Physical Requirements (Lifting, Walking, Bending, Stooping, Kneeling, etc.):
  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, walk, climb, bend, lift, stand, and stoop.
