Job description

We are hiring for motivated individuals to join the Golf Maintenance Department. This team strives to deliver the best possible playing conditions for the membership on a daily basis. Positions that are available are full-time or part-time.

Who we are looking for:

- Individuals who enjoy working in a team environment in varying weather conditions

- Early risers who are extremely punctual

- People who like being physically active

- Individuals who show safety for themselves and their co-workers as a priority

- Attention to detail and the drive to complete tasks to high expectations

- Bringing positivity and energy to work everyday

- Previous work experiences an asset but not required

About the job:

- Early mornings: Weekdays start at 6:00am and weekends start at 5:30am.

- Schedule: Our schedule is 7 days a week, your schedule may vary based on your availability

- Physically demanding: Majority of tasks require you to be on your feet using a variety of tools to complete such as shovels, rakes and power equipment.

- Working outside: Our team takes advantage of working in all weather conditions. Enjoying the great outdoors is part of why we love doing our job. Outerwear is provided to allow our team to be comfortable while working in such conditions.

- Team-Focused: Working together individually and as a team to complete our daily goal of providing members and guests with the best possible club experience.

- Equipment usage: We have a variety of mowing equipment, and the ability to learn equipment comes with time and success in primary tasks. We go through an extensive training program to ensure staff is comfortable with the equipment and they understand all safety policies and procedures.

- Variety: We rotate tasks between staff, and with a variety of tasks that need to be completed, we try to make each day unlike the last.

Tasks could include but are not limited to:

- raking bunkers

- mowing

- course set up

- line trimming

- garden maintenance

Pay: Between $18 and $26 hourly based on experience.
