Edison's Entertainment Complex features 12 lanes of boutique bowling, a full-service restaurant & lounge and appeals to adults and families alike. Edison's also features a 3,400 square foot laser tag arena, a state-of-the-art arcade, and five great party rooms for birthdays, business meetings, and more. Edison's is not a chain; it is privately-owned and actively managed by the ownership. Edison's is in its fifth successful year of operation and is located in the affluent community of Edwardsville, IL.
Job Description
We are currently seeking part-time bartenders. This is a high-volume environment that requires the ability to maintain a high level of energy. These positions report the Food & Beverage Director and Front of House Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
- Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
- Lift up 30 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk/bend throughout shift
- Availability to work holidays and weekends (weekday availability is a plus)
- Understand and comply with all federal, state, and local liquor laws
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies
- Effectively communicate food and beverage menus
- Accurately take guests' orders
- Correctly and precisely calculate each guest check
- Cash handling
- Room set up and tear down
- Clean, stock, and maintain the workstations throughout shift
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
- Adhere to company policies and philosophies
Qualifications
Outgoing personality
- 1 year experience serving or bartending in a full-service restaurant or bar environment (banquet serving is a plus)
- Basic math skills
- Commitment to teamwork
- Strong ability to communicate effectively
- An eye for detail
- The ability to multi-task
