DESCRIPTION:
Rowan University invites applications for adjunct faculty teaching positions in Nursing for undergraduate and graduate courses. The applicant must be committed to excellence in the teaching of Nursing. The Nursing Department offers an RN-BSN and an MSN. Interested individuals must have at least a Master's Degree and clinical experience.
The Nursing Department will accept applications throughout the year. When a teaching vacancy arises, we will consider the submitted applications in an effort to staff the course.
The application must be submitted through our online application system.

1. A current and complete curriculum vitae.
2. A cover letter or letter of interest. The letter should include the following information:
(a) the type of courses the applicant is interested in teaching;
(b) detailed information about previous teaching experience at the college level,
(c) the time period during which the applicant expects to be available; and (d) the names and the contact information of three references.
3. New Jersey State Nursing Licensure Information
4. Transcripts - unofficial at time of application is acceptable

In compliance with The State of New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, and in accordance with the current MOA, Rowan University adjuncts are provided with a minimum of $1,975 per credit for all courses taught, with a maximum teaching load of 8 credits per semester and 12 credits in an academic year. Courses will be assigned to instructors by College & Department on an as-needed basis.
