Candidates must be available to work every weekend and holiday after completing the required training for various positions. The candidate should be ready to work shifts that extend from 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Pay Range

$18.85 - $28.30Major Responsibilities: Demonstrates the ability to ensure the quality and accuracy of department operations by monitoring daily cafeteria activities 1) Collects cash and charge tender. Accurately inputs transactions of same into register 2) Maintain adequate change in drawer through exchanges with main cashier 3) Completes cash count reconciliation after each meal period. Drops deposit into drop safe in the office 4) Prepares cafeteria survey for meal service in conjunction with food service workers 5) Assists customers as needed to provide exceptional service. Coordinates daily cafeteria procedures as necessary 1)Secures & opens doors and equipment at off/on meal times 2) Displays daily pricing on menu boards 3) Wipes tables in dining room and replenishes salt, pepper and sugar before breakfast, lunch and dinner 4) Maintains portion of cafeteria condiments as used by customer 5) Brews coffee for daily services in cafeteria 6) Maintains excellent customer service 7) Maintains work area in a clean & organized manner Participation in self development by attending mandatory inservices and education programs appropriate to the goals and needs of the department 1) Attends inservice programs on equipment use and operation 2) Attends all mandatory inservice programs. Education/Experience Required: High School Diploma or equivalent One year previous food service experience preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: Good communication skills Ability to work in a fast paced environment Reading, writing, mathematical computation such as those normally acquired with high school or equivalent. Ability to speak English sufficiently to perform job responsibilities Ability to work a cash register N/A Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Some transporting of objects up to 20 lbs.This requirement supersedes any previous lifting requirement effective 08/01/2014. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For lifts over 35 pounds, lifting equipment is expected to be used or lift with at least one other associate when available. Unique lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case by case basis.This job description indicates the general nature and level of work expected of the incumbent.
