Job Title: Master Plumber – HVAC Service Technician (Field Service)

Job Description

This role offers a flexible, part-time opportunity for a highly skilled, Massachusetts-licensed master plumber to work approximately 15 hours per month as an HVAC service technician in the field. You diagnose, repair, and maintain plumbing and HVAC-related systems at residential and commercial client sites, operating independently while delivering excellent customer service and representing the company professionally.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems, including water lines, fixtures, drainage systems, and water heaters.
  • Service HVAC-related components connected to plumbing systems, such as boilers, hydronic systems, and condensate lines.
  • Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements on residential and commercial plumbing and HVAC systems.
  • Review and interpret plumbing codes and blueprints to ensure compliant and accurate installations and repairs.
  • Install, modify, and upgrade plumbing and related mechanical systems in alignment with construction and project requirements.
  • Support construction management activities by coordinating plumbing and HVAC-related work with other trades as needed.
  • Handle emergency service calls and urgent repairs, providing timely and effective solutions in the field.
  • Document work performed, communicate findings and recommendations to clients, and maintain clear records of service activities.
  • Operate independently in the field, managing your schedule within the flexible hours provided while maintaining a strong customer-first approach.

  • Active Massachusetts master plumber license.
