The Promontory Club is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Club Concierge – Part Time

The Concierge will work closely with the Concierge Manager and is responsible for ensuring that all needs and requests of Promontory Members are met. The Concierge is expected to provide service that is far above the expectations of our Membership. No task is too large, too small or too mundane. The Concierge team is expected to offer the best service, knowledge and assistance to our Members. The Concierge will have a hands-on approach, and should constantly be striving to innovate with new ideas with ways to enhance our service product. The Concierge will act as a resource and time saver to Promontory Members and internal staff by offering an array of services. These services provide and added "Extra" benefit to residents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide travel agent and trip planning recommendations to Members.
  • Provide lodging and transportation arrangements.
  • Arrange dining reservations.
  • Provide entertainment suggestions.
  • Provide visitor information.
  • Make any arrangements requested by Members.
  • Act as Point of Contact for Promontory Home Owner Services Program.
  • Call tracking and scheduling.
  • All Member follow-up.
  • Report generation as directed.
  • Update Membership data base as directed.
  • Coordinating all package deliveries to and from the Members.
  • Resolve Member complaints.
  • Constantly be aware of daily functions and promotions.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Club Concierge will also:

  • Be self-motivated. 
  • Be able to excel in a time sensitive, demanding environment while remaining calm and working well under stress and pressure.
  • Have outstanding guest interaction skills.
  • Display strong organizational skills.
  • Have strong administrative tendencies.
  • Recognize the necessity for standards and policies, but should also be able to adapt his/her approach to each situation as necessary.
  • Act as a role model to colleagues, and maintain the highest level of personal and ethical conduct.
  • Have high grooming standards.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a pre – employment background check.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 2 to 3 years related experience in a high profile customer service position; must have excellent customer service and communication skills; basic computer skills and competency in the following, Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook preferred.

WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures and submit ideas for possible revision; work independently with little supervision; organizational and time management skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to sit at a desk or in a meeting for extended periods of time; ability to lift 30lbs occasionally; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends.

Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Wages start at $21.00/hr and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
