The opportunity

Job Summary:

SNHU operates a shuttle that is used to transport students to several office campus locations (Walmart, Market Basket, Target, etc.). The shuttle is for SNHU students only and shuttle drivers are responsible for transporting students along the established route.

Duties and Responsibilities are unique for each role but include:

  • Drive the SNHU shuttle
  • Ensure the safety of all passengers
  • Complete pre and post shift vehicle inspection
  • Become an approved driver for the SNHU accessibility van
  • Complete daily logs (number of passengers, incidents, gas mileage)
  • Be prepared to work with Public Safety, Roadside Assistance, and/or On-call shuttle supervisor to manage accidents or issues with the vehicle or passengers

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Graduate Day program at SNHU
  • Must have a current/valid driver's license
  • Must pass the SNHU driving check(limited traffic infractions and accidents)
  • Positive, courteous, friendly attitude
  • At least one year of licensed driving experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work study eligible

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
