Augment Human Resource Services is now hiring a General Laborer to support day-to-day cleaning and maintenance at a busy waste and recycling facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a hardworking team.

You’ll be placed on-site at one of our national clients, helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and operations area.


Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Job Description

Position: General Laborer
Requirements:

  • Steel-toe boots (all other PPE will be provided)
  • TWIC card is Mandatory

Job Duties:

  • Lining 40-yard roll-off containers
  • Weed eating
  • General manual labor tasks such as:
  • Lifting and moving materials
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Digging and refilling holes
  • Mowing, trimming, and light equipment operation
  • Assisting with other site tasks as assigned

I. Job Summary

Performs a variety of general manual labor tasks under direct supervision.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Performs general manual labor tasks including lifting, moving, loading/unloading, and basic groundskeeping.
  • Assists with site preparation and maintenance.
  • Conducts other duties and tasks as assigned.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

  • None

IV. Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Required: High school diploma or G.E.D; 0–4 years previous experience.
  • Preferred: Associate’s Degree, or equivalent experience; 0–4 years previous experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • TWIC card required
  • No other certifications required

Skills & Abilities:

  • Ability to perform manual labor tasks safely and efficiently
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team

V. Work Environment

  • Requires motor coordination with finger dexterity (keyboard use, light machine operation, etc.) occasionally
  • Requires exerting physical effort handling objects <30 lbs. most of the workday
  • Exposure to outdoor elements (dirt, odors, noise, weather extremes) occasionally
