Job description

Job Summary Works part-time assisting department with various assignments such as grass cutting, cleaning up litter on department property, organizing material in storage yards, loading litter and broken items for disposal at the dump, assisting right-of-way clearing crew with the application of herbicides, working in Garage, painting transformers, assisting Engineering staff with the staking of job sites, and assisting with other duties that may arise especially during the summer months. Essential Duties and Responsibilities and Supervision Required Grass cutting. Cleaning up litter on department property.

Organizing material in storage yards. Loading litter and broken items for disposal at the dump. Assisting right-of-way crew with the application of herbicides.

Assisting Garage personnel with mechanic work. Painting transformers, etc. Assisting Engineering staff with the staking of job sites.

Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Training, & License Must be 18 years of age. Current enrollment as a student is preferred.

Valid driver's license. Required Knowledge Skills Abilities Physical Demands (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to perform manual labor and lift 50 to 100 lbs.
