STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)

POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for positive individuals to assist with our concessions areas and as a server during catered banquet events to provide quality service as well as consistent products. This part-time role is ideal for individuals looking for a flexible work opportunity that can complement other commitments. Scheduling will be based on employee availability and business needs.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:
  • Assist customers as needed with outstanding customer service
  • Operate an electronic cash register and credit card machine
  • Operate the POS software efficiently & effectively
  • Perform basic mathematical computations
  • Balance drawer and manage daily income
  • Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner
  • Clean dining and concession areas; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers
  • Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas and place them in designated areas when needed
  • Will be asked to cook/prepare food items
  • Take and record temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food
  • Serve, bus and provide food service during catered banquet events.
  • Alert management immediately for the following incidences: suspicious acting persons, intoxicated individuals, adults with no children, etc.
  • Alert management immediately regarding mistake or adjustments to the cash drawer
  • Additional tasks as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Must be able to work weekends
  • Must have or be willing to obtain Safe Serve Certification
  • Food Handler's Card preferred
  • Prior experience operating a cash register and balancing a cash drawer is preferred
  • Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons
  • One year of customer service experience with general public preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally lift, pull, push, and/or move heavy items
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals that must be handled with extreme caution
  • Work is outside and can be exposed to hot, wet, and humid conditions and temperatures exceeding 100+
  • Minimal duties are performed in direct sunlight
