Job description

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN)

Location: Main Campus, Group Homes

Reports To: Head of Nursing

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Employee Status: Full-Time or Part-Time

Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts

Supervision Given: None

Supervision Received: Head of Nursing, Executive Director

NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Provides nursing care to assigned individuals with developmental disabilities in their group homes, and in other client areas. 

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • High School diploma or GED.

Work Experience:

  • At least one year of experience working as an LPN preferred.
  • Certification or License:
  • Licensed Practical Nurse 
  • CPR License 
  • Current Louisiana Driver’s License 
  • Current Automotive Insurance Coverage  
  • Attendance at Mandatory Training amp; In-Services

Other Considerations:

  • Acceptable Driver’s Motor Vehicle Record required. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
