Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time Shifts Available: Evening: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm (Part-Time) Night: 10:00pm to 6:00am (Part-Time) Eve/Night Combination: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm & 10:00 pm to 6:00 am (Full-Time) Bonus: $5,000 (Full-Time); $2,500 (Part-Time) Location: 110 N 5th Ave W, Newton, IA 50208 Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities:
  • Display a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
  • Administer medications and/or treatment in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
  • Manage medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Document resident care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
  • Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and take follow-up action as necessary.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications:
  • Must have a current Iowa LPN license and be in good standing.
  • CPR certification or willing to obtain.
  • Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
  • Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.
