As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors and employees with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. What You'll Do:
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, trailer yards, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and delivery-driver activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain orderly movement throughout the location.
  • Prepare accurate reports and maintain required activity logs for incidents, patrols, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Previous access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
