Optometrist – PT/FT – Private Practice – Medford, OR - 3-Day Weekends Every Week (Saturday–Monday off)

A well-established private practice in Medford, OR is seeking a full-time or part-time Optometrist to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider looking for strong work-life balance, a supportive environment, and the ability to practice full-scope optometry without being rushed.

Schedule:
Tuesday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Enjoy 3-day weekends every week (Saturday–Monday off)

About the Practice

This is a thriving, family-oriented private practice that has been serving the community for over 20 years. With a loyal patient base and continued growth, we are expanding our space to accommodate additional lanes and increased patient demand.

You’ll be joining a collaborative team of 2 Optometrists along with experienced support staff, including technicians and opticians who help ensure smooth clinic flow and allow you to focus on patient care.

We pride ourselves on creating a positive, team-driven culture where relationships—with both patients and staff—are a top priority.

Position Overview

This is a full-scope optometry role seeing patients of all ages, with a strong mix of medical and routine care.

Clinical responsibilities include:

  • Comprehensive eye exams 
  • Diagnosis and management of ocular disease (glaucoma, diabetic eye care, etc.) 
  • Dry eye treatment and management 
  • Myopia control 
  • Contact lens fittings (including RGPs; minimal scleral lenses) 
  • Post-operative care (cataract) 

You can expect to see approximately 15–20 patients per day, allowing time to deliver high-quality, personalized care.

Technology & Equipment

The practice is equipped with modern technology, including:

  • Optos imaging 
  • OCT 
  • Fundus photography 
  • Autorefractor 
  • Virtual visual field testing
