Position description: 

  • Direct Support Professionals are caregivers. No experience is necessary, training is provided.
  • The ideal candidate is someone who is a naturally kind and compassionate person that would enjoy helping people and having fun with them.
  • DSPs often take care of daily needs; cooking, cleaning, transportation, medication assistance, bathing etc. On occasion, they will take individuals bowling or to the movies, and often join individuals at church or volunteer events.

The goal is to help our residents feel and become as independent as possible while they live their daily lives. Be a companion; learn to be a caregiver for someone in your community! 

Full time and Part time Available– Multiple shifts available 

Compensation: $16 an hour -  Rate can increase with documented and verified experience. We also offer a $2 shift differential for applicable 2nd shift hours.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Ohio Driver’s License with fewer than 6 points on driving record
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Able to pass background check
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screening (including medical marijuana)                                                            A Valid Driver's License in good standing and High School Diploma or G.E.D. are required for this opportunity, and will be verified before employment can begin
