Job description

To provide each guest with excellent customer service, massages and body treatments. 

Centrally located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip, The Linq is famous for its comfortable atmosphere and friendly customer service. The resort offers 2,640 rooms and suites, nearly 75,000 square-feet of casino space offering world-class gaming and 40,000 square-feet of meeting and banquet space.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older 

  • Two years' massage therapy experience at a resort or high-level country club preferred. 

  • Proper training and certificates for service provided. (Must be able to produce certifications upon hire.)

  • Highschool diploma 

  • Experience in administering treatments to male and female guests in a professional manner. 

  • Understand and follow Blood Born Pathogen procedures 

  • Excellent, reading writing and oral proficiency in the English language 

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to stand up to 9 hours per day Length of time of these tasks may vary 

  • Able to lift 15lbs occasionally 

  • Able to work entire shift in a Mask 

  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, listening, hearing ability and visual acuity. 

  • Must be able to operate office equipment such as computers, online booking platforms, printer, and two-way radio.

  • Offer the highest level of personalized service while maintaining a positive, enthusiastic, helpful, and professional attitude with all guests and team members. 

  • Initiate and engage in conversations in a professional and friendly manner. 

  • Administer expert massage and body treatments for various purposes and needs and in the specific time frame given. 

  • Provide consistent professional treatments as directed in training classes and accepted certification practices 

  • Properly care for equipment and products used 

  • Communicate and describe in an articulate manner the spa offerings 

  • Compare and contrast the different services on the menu 

  • Recommend and up-sell services at the spa facility on property 

  • Handle guest questions and concerns with professionalism and courtesy 

  • Respond to guest requests immediately, accurately, and appropriately 

  • Understand the importance of and committed to continuing education 

  • Works unsupervised for extended period 

  • Uphold all protocols for set-up and cleanliness of treatment rooms. 

  • Follow all guidelines established by the governing state board. 

  • Understand that as a representative of the Spa they will maintain a healthy appearance and a positive attitude 

  • Maintain a clean, safe, stocked and well-organized work area. Including extensive in-between client cleaning procedures. 

  • Maintains well-maintained spa appearance, cleanliness and ability to work entire shift in a mask as directed. 

  • Comfortable around guests who may be in a state of undress 

  • Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or Assistant Manager. 

  • Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve problems in fast paced environment 

  • Regular attendance is essential to the successful performance of the position 

  • Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, team members may be required to work varying schedules, weekends, and holidays to reflect the needs of the facility 

  • Must comply with rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the facility 

  • Always maintains a friendly pleasant and professional demeanor and appearance 

  • Ability to provide services and skills across any citywide property location.
