Description
One Part-Time Library Assistant position is available in the Adult Services Department of the Main Library in Wilson. Assigned locations are subject to change based on the needs of the library.
Description of Work
Part-Time Library Assistants for the Wilson County Public Library are responsible for assisting patrons with Internet searches, accessing materials using the online catalog, providing information regarding library programs and services, arranging and maintaining book displays, planning and presenting educational programs, and performing other related work as needed. These jobs require regular day, evening, and weekend hours.
Minimum Education and Experience
The minimum qualifications for this position are an Associates or Technical degree, experience providing service to the public, and a valid NC driver's license. Spanish language skills are highly desirable.
