Grand 35, a Lifespark 55+ Independent Living Community, is looking for a Leasing Agent to join our growing team.
Grand 35 is conveniently located just off of I-35 in Burnsville, Minnesota. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 130-unit apartment community. Join our team today!
Schedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per week
Week 1: Monday 9am-5pm, Wednesday 10:30am-6:30pm, Friday 9am-5pm
Week 2: Monday 9am-1pm, Wednesday 10:30am-6:30pm, Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-1pm
Wage: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

The Leasing Agent is responsible for marketing 55+ apartment homes, conducting tours, and guiding prospective residents through the application and leasing process while providing exceptional customer service. They also support resident retention by maintaining accurate records, coordinating move-ins and move-outs, and serving as a welcoming point of contact for residents and their families. Additionally, this position requires ongoing evaluation of current practices and procedure within the marketing department and the discretion to make improvements as needed.
Duties Include:
  • Serve as the main point of contact for tours to potential renters, and perform administrative duties concerning the property as directed.
  • Consults with prospective residents to identify requirements, their budget and then matches these needs with the available apartments in the community.
  • Ensures available apartments and model are fresh and tidy.
  • Conducts background and credit checks and verifies other references as directed by Executive Director.
  • Prepares leases for Executive Director review and approval; obtains signatures from residents.
  • Coordinates move-in dates, materials, and processes.
  • Supports social media and content creations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in sales and marketing, public relations, or advertising.
  • Experience in healthcare is preferred.
  • A proven proficiency to analyze, develop, and execute a marketing plan to build revenue.
  • Ability to drive the success of multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience with using and developing multi-media campaigns.
  • Exceptional telephone, communication skills and the desire to work closely with senior adults is essential.
