Life doesn't always follow a fixed schedule. That's why we created the Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol in Seattle, WA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.35 / Hour

DayTimeThur07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

  • Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
  • Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific security-related procedures and access guidelines at an industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery information according to site policies.
  • Prepare clear reports on incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or policy-related issues and relay important information during shift handoff as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
