Pilates Instructor 
Position: Group Pilates Instructor
Location: Carbon Performance – Charlotte
Position Type: Part-Time
Role Overview

Carbon Performance is seeking a certified Group Pilates Instructor to lead safe, engaging, and results-focused classes at our new Charlotte location. The ideal candidate will not only deliver traditional Pilates fundamentals but also be qualified to teach a strength-based style of Pilates that supports our members’ performance, stability, and body composition goals. This role is central to delivering a premium member experience, driving engagement, and supporting the success of the program.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver well-structured Pilates classes with a focus on alignment, posture, controlled movement, and strength development.
  • Teach a progressive, strength-oriented style of Pilates that complements Carbon’s training model and supports member goals in strength, endurance, and overall fitness.
  • Engage and motivate members with clear cueing, encouraging coaching, and strong energy.
  • Modify exercises to accommodate varying fitness levels, injuries, or mobility limitations.
  • Ensure the safety, organization, and cleanliness of the group training space.
  • Collaborate with the Head Instructor and team to continuously evolve the Carbon group training experience.

Qualifications

  • Certified Pilates Instructor (Accepting Mat Pilates and Lagree Applicants)

  • CPR/AED certified (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  • 1+ year experience teaching group Pilates classes.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach a strength-based style of Pilates that integrates with fitness and performance goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality instruction aligned with Carbon’s standards.
